“I am wise, I am wild, I am woman.”
Suzanne Arnold
I claimed the title of Wise Woman a few years ago when I realised that “I had become the woman I had been searching for all of my life!”.
When I had that ‘aha!’ moment, I laughed out loud and I felt a transformational sense of liberation. I knew I was ready to truly share the wisdom I have gleaned from this lifetime and to offer myself as a facilitator of change and empowerment.
In a culture that has little time for old women and fears ageing, it felt like a very brave action to claim my wise woman title, but it felt so right once I did.
Over my years of holding women in circle, the qualities that are often reflected back to me in testimonials are my ability to hold a safe, supportive and loving space, to deeply listen and reflect back, to work intuitively and to celebrate and teach the wisdom of the natural world and our connection to It, in a warm, accessible, creative and joyful way.
I offer you the wisdom and knowledge I have learnt over a lifetime of experiences, challenges, highs and lows. Together we co-create sacred space, a space beyond the ordinary, where you are safely held and invited to take time to explore yourself in a deeper and authentic way.
When women gift themselves with time it is a radical act and an opportunity to empower themselves to become stronger and more confident, to take more control of their lives, reclaim their sovereignty, witness their own magnificence and step into and claim their power.
It is one of my greatest joys to gather with women in circle and that is why I now call myself a Travelling Wise Woman. I will bring myself and all of my experience in holding circles, storytelling, ceremony, speaking and women’s empowerment work to you, wherever you are! We will co-create bespoke offerings together to give you exactly what you want.
In the following pages you will find some of the ceremonies and retreats that I offer. These form the framework for my offering and include self-care retreats and circles, rites of passage ceremonies, storytelling, inspirational talks or Wheel of the Year celebrations.
Whatever you choose you can be assured I will wrap it up in a precious bundle and travel, with my baskets, to a venue, pre-arranged by you. Together we will gather, honour and celebrate whilst healing, growing. connecting and deepening your relationship with yourself, community and Nature.
The offerings are a combination of ceremony, ritual, storytelling, craft, meditation, movement, discussion, reflection, song, celebration and a sprinkling of magic.
I look forward to gathering with you, bright blessings, Suzanne x

” Suzanne conducted a Wild Woman ceremony for me, to mark my reaching a more mature phase of life on turning 50. It was also a celebration and blessing on, a recently acquired, beautiful piece of land where we held the ceremony. In our busy, modern lives there is very little room for ceremony and conscious celebration of life events, but it is so worth making time for a special day to mark the transition from one life stage to another.
Suzanne is a warm, wise, grandmotherly figure, who will put you at ease, at the same time as creating a magical and sacred space; a time out from ordinary life. I had a small number of guests but it was a very meaningful day nonetheless.
I do feel that I’ve crossed a threshold. It isn’t an instant, ‘ka-zam’ thing: it might take time to assimilate what your ceremony means to you, but creating that sacred space is the cauldron in which change begins.” Sam S.
